Royston sits right on the Herts–Cambs border, market-town core, commuter housing and villages ringing out into the Cambs countryside. We've been climbing roofs across Royston and the surrounding Melbourn, Meldreth, Barkway and Barley since 1990, long enough to know every housing type in the town and which aerial spec each of them actually needs. Locally, signal comes off Sandy Heath, a clean shot from a Group A aerial when the pole height is right. The market-town core has heritage roofs, tight side-alleys and party walls that need experienced hands, not a ladder-and-hope approach. The town's a serious commuter belt address, homeworking, whole-house Wi-Fi and smart-security work is now as much of our diary here as aerials. Our coverage across Royston is properly local, the SG8 postcodes are on our daily route, so booking a same-day slot is realistic, not a call-centre pitch. Same 2-year warranty whether it's a single aerial replacement or a whole-house install combining aerial, satellite, Wi-Fi and CCTV. We do a lot of repeat work in Royston with private homeowners, landlords and letting agents, clean invoicing, honest diagnoses, no cash-in-hand nonsense. Most of the diary is word-of-mouth from previous customers and their neighbours. Services available in Royston ## The full toolkit, one van, one engineer, one bill. Installs completed across Royston since 1990, a lot of it repeat customers, their families and their neighbours. ### 25 minutes from our Stevenage yard Royston sits 25 minutes from our Stevenage base | same-day slots are the norm, not a call-centre promise. ### Sandy Heath transmitter | specced correctly The wrong-group aerial is the number-one reason we get called back to fix someone else's rushed job. Every Royston install goes up matched to Sandy Heath. ### Free call-out, honest quote No trip fee, no diagnostic charge, no hard sell across Royston and the surrounding Melbourn, Meldreth, Barkway and Barley. See the number before you commit. ### 2-year warranty on every install Twice the industry standard on workmanship and parts. If it drifts, we come back and put it right | no arguments. ### One team, one bill Larry quotes, Larry and the team fit. No handovers, no surprise line items on the invoice. ### Aerial, dish, CCTV, Wi-Fi, doorbell | one visit Most Royston jobs we quote now are a combined visit | one van, one warranty, less time off work. Local problems we solve ## Why Royston rooftops fail, and how we fix them. Every town has a handful of aerial and satellite issues that keep coming back, usually rooted in local housing stock, the transmitter shape and the age of the last install. Here's what we see in Royston week after week. ### Heritage roof-lines with limited fixing options Slate, clay and pantile roofs each want different flashing and bracket approaches | we don't wing it. ### Discreet Ring doorbells on period frames No visible cabling, no gouged paintwork | hard-wired through the frame properly. ### Home-office Wi-Fi that fails in the busiest room A single router in the hall doesn't cut it for daily video-calls. Ceiling APs on a Cat6 backbone deliver the coverage remote working actually needs. ### Multi-room TV without spaghetti Living room, kitchen, bedroom, garden studio | proper wall-plates and hidden cable runs, not surface trunking. ### Fringe-signal drop-outs on village-edge properties Right-group aerial, correct pole height and (only where genuinely needed) a masthead amp | spec matters more than expensive kit. Our process in Royston ## The same five steps, every job. Whether it's a single aerial in Royston or a full multi-room system, the process is the same, because it works. 1. 01 Step 1 ### Call or request a quote Speak directly to Larry | no call centre, no sales script. Describe the problem or the job and get a straight, honest price. 2. 02 Step 2 ### Same-day slot booked Where the diary allows, we'll get to you the same day. Otherwise we agree a firm slot and stick to it. 3. 03 Step 3 ### On-site diagnosis Free call-out. We test signal, inspect existing kit, and tell you exactly what the fix needs | no upselling parts you don't need. 4. 04 Step 4 ### Neat, tested install Trade-grade parts, weather-sealed connections, cables run tidily. Every set retuned, every camera commissioned before we leave. 5. 05 Step 5 ### 2-year warranty Workmanship and parts covered for two years. If anything drifts, we come back and put it right | no arguments. Answers for Royston ## The questions Royston customers ask. Not answered?
