TV Aerial & Satellite Installation
In Camden, NW1 and NW5
Camden is dense, converted and conservation-controlled. Larry and the team have been fitting aerials on its terraces, mansion blocks and flat conversions since 1990.

An aerial & satellite engineer who actually works in Camden.
Camden is one of the hardest boroughs in London to fit an aerial in properly, and one of the easiest to fit one badly. Almost everything between Camden Town, Primrose Hill and Regent's Park is a Victorian or Georgian terrace that has been split into flats, sitting inside a conservation area, with a shared roof, a shared riser and no obvious place to put anything.
That is exactly why we survey before we quote. We look at where the signal is actually available, where a bracket can be fixed safely on a party-wall roof, and whether the existing communal system in the building is the real fault rather than your flat. On a lot of Camden call-outs the honest answer is that the aerial on the roof is fine and the cabling between the head amplifier and your living room is not.
Reception across NW1 comes off Crystal Palace, and in central Camden the path is broken up by tall blocks, the railway cuttings around Camden Road and King's Cross, and the newer towers around Regent's Place and the canal. Two flats in the same street can need completely different setups: one takes a compact wideband aerial on a rear gable without complaint, the next needs the aerial higher, on a different elevation, or replaced with a Freesat dish because there is no clean line at all.
We work across Camden Town, Primrose Hill, Chalk Farm, Regent's Park, Somers Town, King's Cross and the Bloomsbury fringe. A large share of that work is flats: single-flat re-cables off an existing communal system, dish installs where the freeholder allows one, TV wall mounting with cables buried in the plaster, and hard-wired data points for people working from a converted second bedroom.
The full toolkit, one van, one engineer, one bill.

Why Camden rooftops fail, and how we fix them.
Camden faults repeat themselves. Once you know the building type, you can usually predict the problem before the ladder comes off the van.
Communal systems blamed on the TV
Most Camden conversions run off a shared aerial and amplifier fitted years ago. When the picture breaks up in every flat, the head end or the distribution amp is the fault, not your set. We test at the riser and tell you which it is in writing.
Conservation restrictions on front elevations
Large parts of Camden are conservation areas where visible front-elevation aerials and dishes cause problems with the council and the freeholder. We plan rear chimney, rear gable or loft positions that keep the frontage clean.
No safe roof access on party-wall terraces
Shared parapet roofs and fragile Victorian slate make some rooftop installs genuinely unsafe. A properly specced loft aerial beats a bad roof job, and we will say so rather than take the risk.
Signal blocked by newer towers
Development around King's Cross and Euston has changed the Crystal Palace path for streets that used to receive cleanly. Repositioning or raising the aerial is the fix, not a bigger amplifier.
Long, thin flats with dead Wi-Fi at one end
Converted terraces are long and full of solid walls. A single router at the front leaves the back bedroom unusable. Cabled ceiling access points solve it permanently.
The same five steps, every job.
Whether it's a single aerial in Camden or a full multi-room system, the process is the same, because it works.

Can you install a TV aerial on a Camden flat conversion?
+
Yes. Most Camden conversions share one roof, so we either connect you correctly to the existing communal system or fit a dedicated aerial where the freeholder permits it. We check permission and access before quoting so there are no surprises on the day.
My whole building has a poor picture. Is that my flat?
+
Probably not. When every flat is affected it is normally the communal aerial, the masthead or the distribution amplifier. We test at the head end and give you a clear written diagnosis you can pass to the managing agent.
Am I allowed an aerial or dish in a Camden conservation area?
+
Restrictions usually apply to visible front elevations rather than the whole property. We plan a rear or side position, or a loft aerial, so the installation keeps the frontage clean and avoids a complaint.
What if there is no safe roof access?
+
We fit a loft aerial where signal allows, correctly aligned and metered, which in central Camden often outperforms a badly fixed rooftop job. If neither works, Freesat is the honest alternative and we will say so.
Do you cover Camden Town, Primrose Hill and Somers Town?
+
Yes, along with Chalk Farm, Regent's Park, King's Cross and the Bloomsbury fringe, covering NW1, NW5 and the WC1 border.
Can you wall mount a TV in a period Camden property?
+
Yes. We fix to the substrate properly, whether that is solid brick or lath and plaster with studwork, conceal the cables and leave the plaster tidy.
Do you fit CCTV and video doorbells in Camden?
+
Yes, including hard-wired doorbells on period door frames and 4K IP camera systems positioned for entry points, with app viewing and secure storage.
How far ahead do I need to book?
+
Camden is a booked-slot area rather than a same-day patch, but emergency roof repairs are prioritised. Call and we will give you a firm slot rather than a four-hour window.
Is the call-out really free this far into London?
+
Yes. Free call-out and free quote in Camden with no distance surcharge and no obligation.
